Greetings Victory Family!  I want to share a passage of scripture that I read this morning and some thoughts about it.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
— Ephesians 2:10

It is amazing to think that I am “God’s handiwork.”  The word handiwork means, something that one has made or done.  If we really think about this, it gives us so much more purpose than just existing on this earth, punching a time clock at work, and living a “means-to-an-end” life.  You were created for this season, in this place, for a purpose!

I also love how it says that we were created “in Christ Jesus.”  That we weren’t just created.  We were created by God’s handiwork AND we were also created "in" Christ!  This means that the same spirit who raised Christ from the dead, resides “in” us (Romans 8:11).  What does God want you to do today?  You are His handiwork!  Impact someone’s life today with the Christ who resides inside you.  I am praying for you and this great church.  I pray that God would use you and me, and this church, to fulfill His plan.

I hope you were able to be with us on Easter.  We had an amazing weekend at all of our campuses, as we started a new series called “The Veil."

You can also watch the special production during our worship set.

We had thousands of people attend our campuses, but one of the most important numbers from Easter weekend was the 103 people who gave their lives to Christ.  I believe this number represents people's lives and their eternities being forever changed!  May God receive all the glory and praise for the work being done in their lives.

I want to encourage you to do whatever you have to do to be here this coming Sunday.  We will continue our series “The Veil,” and will be doing baptisms.  Also, as part of my message, we will be receiving communion in a special way.  It’s going to be a fantastic Sunday!

It is an honor to serve alongside you.
