This past Sunday was truly an epic day for Victory Church. I posed the question, Can our perception of who God is limit our experience of what God can be in our lives?  We then began looking at who we perceive God to be as a church, and how we would conceive it (prove it). If you missed this past Sunday, I beg you to take some time this week to listen or watch the podcast. You can do so by clicking the image below to watch the video, or clicking the button below to listen to the audio podcast.

Victory Church perceives God to be the God of “Anything is Possible.”  We believe He is our provider, we believe He is our healer, and we believe that He is all we need. I spoke about the ways we will carry out our perception:

1) We will pursue and live in His presence
We will believe God to do the impossible in our midst.  Like Moses in Exodus 33, we refuse to proceed in life without His presence going with us!

2) We will make BIG plans and pray BIG prayers to a BIG God
We believe God is calling us to be debt free, launch new campuses, expand our ministries, and have a great impact in this world.  We are not finished; we are just getting started.

3) We will stay out of His way
We believe the key to our success is submitting ourselves to the Holy Spirit.  Proverbs 16:9 says that man plans his ways, but God directs his steps.  We will make plans, we will strive to do everything we can do further God’s Kingdom, but we submit our plans to Him and ask Him to direct our steps.  We will not get in the way!

Tonight, we are going to begin this new season by unifying as a church and pursuing His presence.  We are calling this service, “The Pursuit.”  We will meet at 7pm at the OKC Campus with the Edmond and Iglesia Campuses joining us.  This will be a very powerful time of worship that will include some special corporate prayers over our marriages, our families, our finances, and we'll also be praying and believing for healing to happen in people’s bodies and lives.   (Edmond campus will still be having Youth and VKIDS experience at the Edmond campus, normal time.)  Then on Friday night, January 23, we will continue this pursuit by having another worship night at the Edmond Campus at 7pm, and invite our OKC Campus to join us there.  Childcare will be provided.

There is power in unity!  As a church, we will lock arms and perceive God to be the God of “Anything is Possible” — for our individual lives, and for the future and impact of this incredible church.

If you have any questions, please contact us at info@victorychurch.tv or call our offices Monday through Thursday from 8am-5pm.

I am so excited about what God is doing in this House. It is an honor to serve God and pursue His presence alongside you. I’ll see you this Wednesday and Friday night!
