I trust this post finds you in the middle of an amazing week. If you missed last Sunday, you can go back and watch it.

If you have been attending Victory for very long, you've probably heard me talk about Proverbs 16:9. It is one of my favorite verses. It reads, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”  I think I love this verse because it is God’s invitation for us to play a vital role in our own futures. However, it is also required that we submit our plans to God because He ultimately establishes our steps. So it is this beautiful relationship between us using our hearts and minds to make plans, all the while, submitting them at the feet of Christ and allowing Him to ultimately have His way in our lives. Proverbs 29:18 (AMP) also tells us that “Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]–blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he." So where there is no vision, the people perish. Therefore God wants us to create vision, plans, and desires as long as we are continually testing our motives and submitting to His will.

Rarely will you ever hear me beg you to come to church. But this Sunday, February 22, is the most important day of the year to be in church. We will be concluding the LIVE MOVE BE series; however, there is more to it than just that. This Sunday I cannot wait to share my heart for the future plans of this great church, as we press on towards the mark to which God is calling us. Submitting our plans at the feet of Christ and asking Him to guide our steps, we will make BIG plans, and pray BIG prayers to a BIG God, and expect BIG results.

I want to sincerely say thank you to each of you. Thank you for being a vital part of what God is doing here. Thank you for staying the course and believing in me, this staff, and this awesome church. We have only seen a small sliver of what God is about to do in our midst as we LIVE in His presence, MOVE beyond ourselves, and BE transformed.

As always, it is an honor to serve alongside you.

PS - Warr Acres will be releasing a new song this Sunday. Here is a link for you to listen to it so you can enjoy it now, and be more familiar with it on Sunday!
