I have never been more excited about what God is doing in, and through, Victory Church.  God has done so much in such a short span of time.

In less than a year, we have cast new vision for the church as we “Equip people to LIVE, MOVE, and BE in the fullness of Christ.”  We have made tremendous strides in deferred maintenance and capital improvements by resealing and striping the OKC Campus parking lot, as well as repainting the VKids wing of the OKC Campus.  We also upgraded many of the rooms in the OKC Campus VKids space with new games, technology, and televisions.  We released the Warr Acres album that is empowering people to LIVE in His presence.  We launched our Dream Team that has improved volunteer participation as we MOVE beyond ourselves. We have launched our EQUIP classes that are equipping people to BE transformed as they take one step closer to Christ.  We continue to reach our communities through dynamic and life-changing outreach.  But the greatest thing God has done is the nearly 1,000 people who have given their lives to Christ across our campuses and the countless lives that have been touched, encouraged, and changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The OKC Campus is seeing growth, health, and sustainability.  We have an influx of young families coming, which has caused some VKids rooms to be filled to capacity at the 10:30 Experience.  The Edmond Campus is beyond full and we’re looking to add another Experience early next year.  The Iglesia Campus is growing and thriving since moving their Experiences to the Main Auditorium at the OKC Campus earlier this year.

I believe the season of Victory Church is moving from repair and healing to health and building.  We are believing God for some ginormous things in 2016 and beyond.  At the end of January, I will be giving a “State of the Church” address to share with you where we are as a church.  This will be my opportunity to lead with transparency by giving you an inside glimpse at the church and cast vision for a plan to get us out of debt and moving forward as a healthy church!

However, I want us to get an early start on 2016.  We are looking to complete several projects as we launch into 2016 with momentum and excitement.

We are believing God for a $500,000 harvest on November 22 as we receive our “Heart for the House” offering.

For a detailed look into the projects and the vision behind it, please watch or listen to my sermon from November 8, 2015 entitled, “To Give or Not to Give, That is the Question.”

If you have already seen or heard this sermon, I ask you to continue to pray and ask God what He would put on your heart to give.  We truly believe that Victory Church is not built on the talents of a few, but on the sacrifices of many.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
— 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (ESV)
